Vasastafetten

Vasastafetten är ett folkfest-stafettlopp som går längs den klassiska sträckan från Sälen till Mora. Upp till tio löpare delar på totalt cirka 92 km, med sträckor mellan 4,5 och 15 km, och loppet välkomnar både elitlöpare och motionärer samt lag från föreningar, företag och kompisgäng. Starten sker i Berga by i Sälen och arrangemanget är en av sommarveckans äldsta tävlingar. Starttid för 2026 är 08:00 den 15 augusti.

Race packets with bib numbers and information letters are sent to team leaders approximately two weeks before the race; timing chips are collected on race day at the Vasaloppet start in Sälen (alternatively at the race office in Mora in the days prior). The registration fee includes bus transportation for participants on segments 1 and 2 (bus ticket to the start of segment 1 must be booked; runners on segment 2 must take the organizer's bus to Smågan). The start pens open at 07:30 and participants should be on site by 07:55 at the latest; the timing chip is worn as a wristband and the pass for exchange is placed visibly in the windshield. The maximum number of participating teams is 600; minimum age is 8 years. Start in Sälen/Berga; finish in Mora; exchange points along the route; bib and chip required; exchange controls and services along the course; race documents and chips are handled by the organizer.
