Yxbacken Extreme Challenge by E2C is the toughest 7 km race out there, according to participants in this weekend's running competition at Yxbacken, the ski slope outside Norrköping. Over 250 runners took on the challenge of running up the lift path and down the family slope five times in a row! The race, organized by Norrköping Running Club and Norrköping Ski Club, features 100 meters of elevation gain over 350 meters, and the lap is completed five times. This year, the children's race Lilla Yxbackenloppet by E2C was also introduced, which became a huge success with enthusiastic kids tackling the course.
