Älmhult Fights Cancer

Älmhult Fights Cancer is a charity race in Älmhult that raises money for the fight against cancer. The event is organised by Aktivitetshuset/the IKEA network and welcomes the general public, IKEA employees and their families. Registration is through RaceID, where participants choose both their distance and start time. Online registration is open until 9 May at 20:00, and on-site registration is available from 08:30, subject to availability. The race weekend also includes inspirational talks and an after-run at Grillen after the finish.

As this is a charity event, fees are non-refundable if you cancel. Group registration is supported (add additional participants during payment), and the confirmation email from RaceSupport includes your chosen distance and start time. Inspirational talks are held at Aktivitetshuset before the race (including Aron Anderson on 10 April, 17:00–19:00, and a talk by researchers on 24 April, 17:30–19:00). The after-run at Grillen starts at 14:00 after the race. A course map is available as a PDF on the event page, and IKEA Hotell is recommended for overnight stays.
