Älmhult Fights Cancer

Älmhult Fights Cancer is a charity run in Älmhult that raises money for the fight against cancer. The race is organized by Aktivitetshuset/IKEA network and welcomes both the general public and IKEA employees and their families. Registration is done via RaceID where participants choose both distance and start time; online registration is open until May 9th at 8:00 PM and late registration can be done on-site from 8:30 AM if space permits. The race weekend is complemented by inspirational lectures and an after-run at Grillen after the finish line.

Since the race is a charity event, no fees are refunded upon cancellation. Group registration is supported (add additional participants during payment) and confirmation emails from RaceSupport include the chosen distance and start time. Inspirational lectures are held at Aktivitetshuset before the race (including Aron Anderson on April 10th from 17:00 to 19:00 and a lecture with researchers on April 24th from 17:30 to 19:00). The after-run at Grillen begins at 14:00 after the race. A course map is available as a PDF on the event page, and IKEA Hotel is recommended for overnight stays.
