Race description
Ångaloppet is a welcoming swimrun event at Ånga gård with the goal "swimrun for everyone". The 2026 races will be held on August 8 and include several distances and events for different levels, including 22 km, 11 km, Trail, 5 km, and Family. The courses offer varied nature with forest trails, gravel roads, and hilly technical terrain; the swimrun races also include multiple swimming sections in both lake and sea. Organizers emphasize an inviting atmosphere for participants of all ages and experience levels.

The event in 2026 consists of five races on the same day (August 8): 22 km, 11 km, Trail, 5 km, and Family. For the 22 km race: loop course (11 km per lap), approximately 20 swimming sections (the longest about 190 m, the shortest about 30 m), six water stations along the course, and a cut-off time at the turn of 2.5 hours. Team changes are possible for a fee of 400 SEK - email info@angaloppet.se. The courses are marked and the start group 1 (earliest start) is scheduled for 10:00 AM. Ångaloppet Trail is a new distance in the 2026 program. Team changes possible for a fee of 400 SEK.
