Änggårdsbergen Trailrun

Änggårdsbergen Trailrun is a 12.5 km trail race in Göteborg's nature reserve Änggårdsbergen, organized by Språng Träning & Äventyr. The single-lap course offers technical trails, hills, and several viewpoints — a true trail race in the middle of the city. The race suits both those who want to push themselves and those who want to enjoy nature; start and finish are located at Karlsrofältet near Linnéplatsen/Botaniska trädgården. The organizer welcomes participants with a focus on adventure and nature experiences.

Start and finish at Karlsrofältet (about 300 meters from Linnéplatsen/Botaniska trädgården). Registration in three start groups: 11:00, 11:03, and 11:06. Bibs can be collected from 09:30 on race day; start numbers will also be sent via SMS on Friday. Trail shoes with a sturdy sole are recommended; spike shoes are prohibited. A water station is available approximately halfway and at the finish line; energy partner Moonvalley offers sports drinks and bars. A wooden medal inspired by Vitsippsdalen will be awarded to all participants. There is an option to change name or transfer the start place via Eq-Timing for 100 SEK (name change/transfer no later than April 27). Test runs are offered (March 21: hill technique; April 12: full course trial run). Start and finish at Karlsrofältet near Linnéplatsen/Botaniska trädgården. Start groups at 11:00, 11:03, and 11:06. Transportation options include tram to Linnéplatsen/Botaniska trädgården and bus to Linnéplatsen. Parking around Slottsskogen; avoid parking in Änggården's residential area. Children from 8 years old can run with a guardian; the guardian is responsible for the child.
