Bålsta Stadslopp

Welcome to Bålsta City Race, held on 26 April 2026 at Gröna Dalens IP in Bålsta. The race is known for its fast, spectator-friendly course, where many runners have set personal bests. Organised by Bålsta IK, it has grown every year since it began in 2019. The race offers the Sparbanksloppet 5 km (one lap) and 10 km (two laps), with the finish inside the athletics track at Gröna Dalens. The organisers highlight speed, enjoyment and a welcoming event atmosphere for both elite and recreational runners.

Race bibs can be collected inside Gröna Dalens IP from 08:00. Late registration may be available online, subject to space, until 1 hour before each start on race day. The start and finish are at Gröna Dalens sports ground (Badhusvägen); Bålsta station, served by commuter train line 43, is approximately an 850 m walk from the venue. Several parking options are available 100–900 metres away; Badhusvägen will be closed on race day. There is a bag drop (please attach the lower part of your race bib to your bag), limited changing and shower facilities, and toilets near the venue. Umara sports drink and water are available at the 5 km lap point. A 5 km team competition (Sparbanksloppet) is being introduced; the course is described as fast and personal-best-friendly.
