Bålsta Stadslopp

Welcome to Bålsta City Race, held on April 26, 2026 at Gröna Dalens IP in Bålsta. The race is known as a fast, spectator-friendly course where many have set personal bests - the course is organized by Bålsta IK and has grown every year since its start in 2019. The competition offers the Sparbanksloppet 5 km (possible one lap) and 10 km (two laps) with the finish inside the Gröna Dalens athletics track. The organizer emphasizes speed, joy, and a friendly event atmosphere for both elite and recreational runners.

Number bib distribution takes place inside Gröna Dalens IP from 08:00. Late registration can be done digitally subject to availability until 1 hour before each start on race day. Start and finish are located at Gröna Dalens sports field (Badhusvägen); commuter train (line 43) to Bålsta station is about 850 meters walk from the venue. There are several parking options within 100 - 900 meters; Badhusvägen will be closed during the race day. There is clothing drop-off (instructions to attach the lower part of the bib to the bag), limited changing/shower facilities, and toilets near the venue. Sports drinks (Umara) and water are available at the turn-around for the 5 km race. A team competition for the 5 km (Sparbanksloppet) is introduced; the course is described as fast and PB-friendly.
