Race description
Black River Run is an urban ultramarathon in Västerås offered at several distances: 100 miles (161 km), 50 miles (80.5 km), Intro Ultra (48 km), 20 miles (32.2 km), and 10 miles. The start, turnaround, and finish are at Västerås SOK's clubhouse Orientalen, which has changing rooms, showers, and a sauna. The course consists of a varied loop of 10 miles (16.1 km) with technical trails, jogging tracks, gravel roads, hiking trails, and sections of asphalt. The race is organized by Västerås Running Club and offers rewards such as a medal for completing the race and a belt buckle for 100 miles under 24 hours.
