Nordiska Mästarnas Backyard Ultra

Location: Fyskompaniet Training Center at Rattens gränd 1, Bromölla

Venue: The venue is located adjacent to the entrance of Fyskompaniet. The area is paved; we will know in early October whether we can hold the event indoors in a large warehouse or outside on the asphalt in a large event tent. The start and finish will be outside on the asphalt area, where there is also the possibility to set up smaller tents.

Course: The course is carefully assembled with the following surfaces to generate as many laps as possible and is currently suitable for 81 laps. Asphalt 2530m, Grass 152m, Path 1301m, Gravel/Field road 2700m, Wooden bridge 23m, with approximately 30 meters of elevation. Trash bins are located at approximately 1 km, 3 km, and 6 km. Please check the route on this YouTube video www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBX3idm2zDo; however, the start will differ slightly from the video depending on how we set the start in October. Additionally, the entire course is beautifully colored by the hues of autumn. The entire course is marked with fabric ribbons with reflectors. The course is also marked with arrows at all junctions or where there may be uncertainty.

Energy Station: There will always be a well-stocked energy station with water, sports drinks, food, snacks, and other items you might need for long-distance running.

We will also set up:

Dinner: after 17:00 per lap Evening sandwich after 20:00 per lap Breakfast: between 05:30-07:30 - from Sunday Lunch: after 11:00 per lap - from Sunday And so on... We always offer vegan and gluten-free options.

Changing rooms, showers, sauna, toilets: The changing rooms are located close to the venue. There are spacious changing rooms for women and men with multiple showers and a sauna. Toilets are also available. Toilets on the venue will be in the form of portable toilets, accessible before and after the start.

Start: Saturday, October 11th at 10:00

Finish: When the last runner completes their final lap

Timing / Results: Timing is done with a chip attached around the ankle. The time is registered at the lap portal after each completed lap.

There is no possibility to camp on the event site.

Spectators: Feel free to come and cheer on your friends; the easiest way is to follow them from the start area. It is also a pleasant environment near Käsebron or along the northern parts along Lilla Kungsleden.
