Race description
Fjällmaraton Gastronomi is a non-competitive mountain event where participants can choose between two point-to-point routes (approximately 24 km or 42 km) and enjoy both the mountain scenery and local food. The courses are marked and the food stations (roughly every 7 km) serve local ingredients prepared and served on the mountain in collaboration with local producers. For 2026, new routes have been developed: the longer course starts and finishes in Ottsjö, while the shorter starts in Trillevallen and finishes in Ottsjö. The event has open start times so participants can experience it at their own pace, but it is recommended to start early if planning to hike slowly.
