Skälbyloppet

Skälbyloppet is a family-friendly recreational race in Kalmar organized by Högby IF on April 25, 2026. The race offers two main distances, 4 km and 8 km (1 and 2 laps over the bridge), as well as youth categories from 600 meters to approximately 1.9 km. The course runs through the Skälby environment with gravel and park paths, as well as a short asphalt section, and fluids are available at the turnaround and finish. Medals are awarded to all finishers, and registration is conducted according to the schedule provided by the organizer.

Fluids are available at the turnaround on the long course and at the finish. Bib numbers are collected at Skälby lodge; start times are according to the schedule, and late registration is possible as per the organizer. The routes for 4 km and 8 km are standard (1 and 2 laps over the bridge). Presence on site is required for certain volunteer registrations according to RF standards. Bib numbers can be picked up at Skälby lodge on Friday, April 24, from 15:00 to 17:00, and on race day from 08:30; late registration is accepted at bib pickup no later than 1 hour before the start. Fluids are available at the turnaround on the long course and at the finish; medals are awarded to all who complete the race.
