TCS Lidingöloppet (Lidingöloppshelgen)

TCS Lidingöloppet is the world’s largest cross-country race and takes place on the last weekend of September on Lidingö. The weekend offers events for all levels—from a 1.7 km children’s race to the classic 30 km race—and attracts over 30,000 runners to its scenic, hilly courses. The event is both a competitive challenge and a celebration of running, with a Sports Expo where you collect your race number and meet exhibitors. The natural surroundings and soft trails are hallmarks of the race.

Everyone who finishes receives the TCS Lidingöloppet bronze medal, featuring a unique Carl Milles design each year. A silver medal is available if you meet the silver-medal time and started in starting group 2 or lower. A diploma is provided as a PDF in the results email (a printed diploma can be ordered for 50 kr, including postage). Enervit offers on-course support stations (product stations for a fee). Minimum ages: 30 km = 17 years, 15 km = 15 years (other races have various age limits). The Sports Expo is used for race-number collection and features exhibitors. Environmentally friendly travel options include a free bus from Ropsten to Lidingövallen, runner buses from several locations in central Sweden, bicycle parking and carpooling. Access is limited and parking is scarce during the event. Seeding race ahead of the weekend: Vårmilen can be purchased as a seeding race (price 100–200 kr).
