Tjurruset

Welcome to Tjurruset in Norra Djurgården—a fun and challenging trail race where determination often matters more than perfect running form. The course features forest trails, muddy sections, wet stretches and technical terrain. Adults can choose between 5 or 10 km. For children, there is Kalvruset (approx. 3 km) and Lilla Kalvruset (approx. 700 m). The event is organised by Marathongruppen together with local athletics clubs and is open to both beginners and experienced participants.

Practical information: warm showers are available in tents a few minutes’ walk from the finish, along with basic rinsing facilities immediately after finishing. There are collection points for clothes that may not make it home. Kalvruset has a medical first-aid team on site, and all children receive a medal bearing the year. Organised by Marathongruppen in collaboration with Hässelby SK and Spårvägens FK; any surplus goes back to sport.
