Nybro Backyard 12h is an elimination race taking place on September 14, 2024, in Nybro, Sweden. The race lasts for 12 hours, during which runners complete a runnable loop of 6706 meters, with a mass start for everyone at 08:00. Each hour, a new lap begins, and runners who fail to complete a lap within the hour are eliminated from the competition. The 12th lap is the Final Hour, where the first male and female to cross the finish line are crowned winners. The entry fee is 400 SEK, and after the finish, everyone receives a nice medal and something tasty to eat, along with a good beer from Tomorrow Brewing.
Highlights
- The runners are running an easily navigable loop of 6706 m, with laps taken inside the competition center.
- During the race, there will be water, Coca-Cola, coffee, and sandwiches, as well as a super tasty energy drink from Latitude 65.
- For those who have chosen to withdraw, or have not completed the course in 60 minutes, a medal ceremony will be held approximately 3 minutes after each new lap has started.
